The ideas for this Kitchen were conceived on a patch of muddy ground where work was just starting on the owners new extension. The space was going to have high ceilings and plenty of natural light flooding in.

A fairly minimal design with high quality fixtures and fittngs was agreed upon.

A certain symmetry was obatined by placing the Neff built in appliances in tall units either end of the main run of units. All the doors and drawers were made from solid Oak. The center piece of the kitchen was the large Island. This contained the sink and dishwasher. For the worktops we used Nero Zimbabwe

Towards the end of the project we were asked to build a small set of solid oak stairs. This worked out well as we were able to make them to match the rest of the kitchen.

A kitchen similar to this would be in the region of £20,000 excluding appliances at today's prices.
