We were faced with a large space in a newly built bright modern
extension. The client had good ideas of what style they wanted
from the start, green painted units with Oak tops, all we really
had to do was arrange the pieces into something that made the
kitchen easy to use.

Some suggestions we made included placing just a small piece of
granite next to the cooker to stand hot pans on and turning the
knobs ourselves out of the same Oak as the new extension. We cut
drainer grooves into the Oak above a built in Dishwasher to the
right of the Belfast sink to help channel any standing water away.

Opposite the main run of units we built a large food storage
cupboard with the fridge-freezer built into it. Another addition
was a small unit to cover the pipes for the under floor heating.
A kitchen similar to this would be in the
region of £15,000 excluding appliances at today's prices.
